Choosing where to study is one of the biggest decisions you will make. The right destination depends on your budget, the program you want, and where you hope to work afterwards.
1. Start with the program
Not every country offers every field. Use the Program Finder to see which destinations teach your subject at the level you need, then shortlist two or three countries.
2. Work out the total cost
Tuition is only part of the picture. Add accommodation, food, transport, insurance, visa fees and flights for the full length of the program. A cheaper tuition fee in an expensive city can cost more overall.
3. Think about life after graduation
Consider how the degree is recognised at home and abroad, and what work options are available to graduates. Rules change, so always check the latest position.
4. Choose somewhere you will be happy
Distance from home, climate, food and the size of the student community all matter. Students who feel settled usually do better in their studies.
